A holistic DEOS DDC-based Building Management System has been deployed at the Tanajib Power Cogeneration and Desalination Plant, ensuring reliable performance in one of the most critical and harsh operating environments. The DEOS DDC system efficiently controls and monitors all HVAC and ventilation processes to maintain optimal operation under demanding conditions.
Thanks to DEOS’s industrial-grade DDC hardware, the system is built to withstand extreme environmental challenges while delivering consistent and precise control. The solution integrates OPENweb and EMS-810 Series controllers to guarantee seamless operations, maintain perfect temperature and humidity levels, and provide an optimal indoor working environment. The setup is further enhanced with a 15” panel-mounted display, offering intuitive local operation at each substation.
Importance:
The Tanajib Cogeneration and Desalination Plant plays a vital role in the region, delivering approximately 940 MW of electricity, 1,084 tons/hour of steam, and 23,856 m³/day of desalinated water. The reliability and resilience of the DEOS BMS solution contribute directly to ensuring uninterrupted operations in this mission-critical facility.
