About project:
The IWP V Barka Desalination Plant is a key national utility asset, supplying potable water to Muscat and South Al Batinah, the most densely populated governorates in Oman. The plant plays a vital role in meeting the country’s growing water demand with high reliability and operational efficiency, said to be the largest desalination plant in Oman at the time it was built.
